Fusion: New Student Orientation Day 2 – Sunday, Aug. 31
This day will help students learn the ins and outs of academic life including working with professors, maximizing study time and utilizing support services. The day concludes with a variety of interactive activities designed to help students meet others, take care of last minute University business, as well as have fun.

A high-impact, high-energy show, written and performed by EMU’s own student theatre troupe. No subject is taboo in this honest exploration of the issues, choices and decisions that college students make. Live entertainment, interactive activities and great meal choices, accompanied by resource tables ranging from Financial Aid to Academic Advising. You can pick up your course confirmation, check out Commuter Central, buy your books and first pair of EMU sweats, and visit great campus resources like Health Education, Athletics, Diversity and Community Involvement, the Holman Learning Center and Career Services. - Playfair! (8:15-9:45 p.m.) Bowen Field House
Playfair! is totally unlike anything you have ever experienced. It’s described as the world’s largest mixer — more than just an entertainment event — an icebreaker extraordinaire. - Late Night Entertainment (9:30 p.m.to end) Various Locations Each night there will be special optional evening entertainment and activities!
