Students will learn more about the EMU community and all it has to offer. Students will find out about getting involved in clubs, organizations, community service, study abroad, intramural sports, on-campus jobs and much more.

  • Breakfast (9:15-10:15 a.m.) The Commons
  • EMU Bookstore open (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) EMU Student Center
  • Group Kick-off (10:15-10:45 a.m.) Bowen Field House
  • Places to Go(11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.) Various Locations
    Now we’ll show you ways to survive your college years—relationships with professors, student employment, developing academic skills-to chart your own course to success. You will choose two 45 minute sessions to attend. Here’s a sample of “Places to Go” sessions offered Monday morning:

  • Lunch (12:45-1:45 p.m.) The Commons/Eastern Eateries

    Select from a variety of activities and learn how you can make your mark at EMU!
  • Fajita Fest (5-8 p.m.) University Park Fajita Fest is all about food, fun and student organizations galore! Student organizations are there to share information about the benefits of on-campus involvement.
  • Late Night Entertainment (8 p.m.to end) Various Locations
    Each night there will be optional evening entertainment and activities!
